What does my IP address actually reveal?
The address shown here is the public IP this request uses on the internet. It can be shared by a home, office, mobile network or VPN connection. It is not your device’s local network address.
Can you find my exact location?
No. The city and country are approximate, based on your IP address. Mobile networks, VPNs and business networks can appear in another city. We do not request your GPS location.
Is my browser information sent anywhere?
The detailed screen, timezone and hardware information shown by these tools is calculated in your browser and is not sent to Astrotor. Network information comes from our Worker endpoint. Google Analytics may separately process basic usage information such as device and browser type; see the privacy page for details.
Can you tell whether I use a VPN?
This version does not assign VPN or IP reputation scores. An IP address, ASN or city alone is not reliable proof of VPN usage.
