signals are readable in your browser
How is this estimated?
Readable signals are weighted by contribution: high 3, medium 2 and low 1. The bar is based on readable signal weights and is capped at 90% to avoid implying certainty. This is an illustrative heuristic, not a visitor database comparison, a measured uniqueness score or a probability of being tracked. Unreadable fields may reflect missing browser support as well as privacy protection.
Contribution labels indicate how distinguishing a signal may be when building a fingerprint.

A few clear answers.
Let’s make the technical terms a little simpler.
What is a browser fingerprint?
It combines language, screen, platform and other properties. People with similar settings may share the same summary.
How unique is this result?
This tool cannot measure that. A uniqueness claim needs a comparable visitor sample, which this tool does not collect.
Does private browsing hide a fingerprint?
Private browsing changes local history and cookie behaviour, but does not hide every browser property. Updated software, tracking protection and fewer unnecessary extensions may reduce exposed signals.
When do canvas, audio and font checks run?
Only after you press GO. Canvas and WebGL rendering is local, while audio analysis is silent and offline. No microphone or file access is requested. The tool does not send results to a server.
